Hello! Thank you for visiting the Badger Home Team website.  Allow me to introduce myself.

I serve as the Badger Home Team sales and marketing director.  My primary responsibilities include buyer consultation, contract negotiation, document drafting, property showings, market research, listing consultation and marketing material development.

Having been born and raised in southern Wisconsin, I could not be more delighted to call America’s Dairlyand my home.  As the daughter of an educator and registered nurse growing up in the small hamlet of Waterford, Wisconsin, I was taught the importance of integrity, compassion, honesty, seeking value and, most significantly, that the continual quest for educational opportunities-both in your life and career-is paramount.  As a teenager, my craving for continuing, hands-on learning led me to make the monumental decision to participate as an exchange student to “The Land Down Under”- Australia.  This cultural immersion, half a world away from family and friends, served as the catalyst that defined my self-confidence as a businesswoman, instilled a heightened awareness of cultural differences, yielded an appreciation for lifestyle diversity and taught me the value of building solid personal relationships rooted in trust.  Upon graduating with honors from high school my quest for higher education led me to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where I studied Performing Arts and Broadcasting.   After a stint as an on-air La Crosse area radio personality, I moved to the Madison area where I united my passion for learning and helping children as a pre-school instructor.   My own unfortunate experiences as a naïve, poorly informed first-time homebuyer, as well as my passion for homes and interior design piqued my interest in the real estate profession.  Upon obtaining my license nearly a decade ago, I became a licensed assistant to an extraordinarily successful agent in the Sun Prairie area.  Feeling the need to soar above the clouds, I made the important transition of creating my own business, one focused on setting myself apart from the crowd by providing impeccable customer service.

In addition to holding the title of Realtor®--a designation offered to those vowing to uphold an oath of ethics and integrity prescribed by the National Association of Realtors, I am also licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing as a real estate broker.  My commitment to continuing education and my interest in commercial/investment real estate has led me to complete 2 of 4 arduous courses in pursuit of my commercial real estate (CCIM) designation-one held by less that 1% of all real estate professionals nationwide.  My devotion and passion as a full-time real estate professional has yielded the distinction of being a multi-million dollar producer for the past 8 consecutive years.

I reside in rural Sun Prairie with my supportive and caring husband Kevin and our two “sons”, Dugan (chocolate Labrador retriever) and Boomer (Golden retriever).  I’m proud to serve as a volunteer community coordinator for AFS-USA (cultural exchange program), am active in animal rescue efforts in South Central Wisconsin, and hold an elected office in our neighborhood association.  I’m proud to be an active supporter of the United Way of Greater Madison and KW Cares-a charitable organization whose mission is to support the communities it serves in times of hardship.  In my spare time I enjoy traveling, scrap booking, amateur photography and interior design.  Kevin and I enjoy supporting the performing arts, attending University of Wisconsin athletic events and visiting family and friends during our many road trips around the state.

My passion and expertise are anchored in educating first-time homebuyers, guiding clients around the “speed bumps” that accompany new home construction, residential home marketing and assisting clients with investment property opportunities.  I’ve made it my personal mission not only to educate my clients, but also to serve as their advocate for one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.

Kevin Engel

Thank You for visiting the Badger Home Team Website.  Allow me to introduce myself.

I serve as the Badger Home Team transaction engineer.  In addition to being a state licensed real estate salesperson, my primary duties include client communication, closing coordination, listing document preparation, property showing arrangement and marketing material distribution.

As a native Wisconsinite, I’m proud to call Wisconsin-and greater Madison in particular-HOME.  As the son of a 4th generation family farmer, my fervent work ethic, loyalty, perseverance, sincerity and humble nature are rooted in my upbringing on the family farm near Fountain City, Wisconsin.  After graduating valedictorian of my high school class, my thirst for greater knowledge of the earth and its people led me to the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where I majored in cultural geography and earth science.  I continued my studies at St. Cloud State University (Minnesota), graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.  Upon completion of my studies, I joined American Airlines, Inc. as an aircraft maintenance planning manager in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Even though my airline career allowed me to indulge in my passion for travel and learning about the world and its people,  I soon realized that my heart would always be in Wisconsin and returned to permanently make it my home.

I reside in rural Sun Prairie with my beautiful new bride Jennifer and our two “sons”, Dugan (chocolate labrador retriever) and Boomer (golden retriever).  In my spare time I indulge in my passion for travel.  I recently completed the trip of a lifetime by flying around the world in celebration of a milestone birthday.  I’m proud to serve as a volunteer community coordinator for AFS-USA (cultural exchange program) and am active in animal rescue efforts in South Central Wisconsin.  Jennifer and I enjoy supporting the performing arts, attending University of Wisconsin athletic events and visiting family and friends during our many road trips around the state.
